читать дальшеI was there. The reading was very good. Very modern and Michael Urie as Caligula was amazing. Funny, crazy, and flamboyant. Very awesome. I am actually very in love with him now. Randy's character in the play, Scipio who Caligula called "Skippy" (again very modern) was a soft spoken young poet who wanted so badly to hate Caligula for killing his father and at one point wanted to conspire against him with the rest of his Caligula's patrons but in the end decided against it because in a way he grew to understand him and if he himself tried to kill him be would be no better than Caligula. He decides to leave in the end and tells Caligula to remember he loved him.
Saw Randy very very briefly after. I was outside having a cigarette and standing with a few other fans and he came out said hello, thanked us for coming and was on his way. For anyone who cares, he was wearing his black skinny jeans (which he wears to EVERYTHING), a blue button down shirt, and his black boots. His hair which is getting longer, was still pretty short in the back and long in the front was his normal dirty blond color with much lighter blond professional hightlights through out it. He had a beard, not as substantial as the one he had in "Thinking" but it was still pretty heavy. I have to say I liked the beard, the hair not so much. I just dont think men should have highlights. Apparently he had them during POP! but the only times I saw him briefly without his wig on his hair was wet and pushed back or had a hat on.
I did get to meet Michael Urie after though and I am in love. Super sweet, totally down to earth and polite and even took a pic with me with no questions asked. Adorable! I am totally going to see his play The Temperamentals.Рэнди - Сципион, мммм, что может быть более гармоничным? Кто помнит текст пьесы, согласятся. Хотя и Калигула из него мог бы получиться классный. Необычный, но интересный.
